Mixed Cases/Packaged Goods - Entry Level - Full Time
Spectrum Glass Company has an immediate Entry-Level, Full Time opening in our Mixed Case/Packaged Goods department. Schedule will be Monday through Friday 6am - 2:30pm.
This position will start at $11.00 per hour with a 90 day review and raise based on attendance and your performance review.
The person hired for this position will work in two different departments. in the Mixed Case department you will be responsible for opening cases of sheet glass using a hammer and pry bar and then pulling the sheets of glass from the case and placing them into storage shelves, assuring the product numbers match up. You will also pull glass sheets from the shelves and open cases and place them into new cases based on the customer's order.
the second department you will be working in is our Packaged Goods department. Our Packaged Goods department works to create product sets that will be sent to our customers world-wide. Packaged Goods will range from 3X4 samples placed into sample set boxes to special cut sizes from 1/2 inch squares to 12X12 squares. Requirements for this position will include:
Ability to work on your own as well as part of a small team.
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds repetitively (Above shoulder height at times).
Ability to read and follow instructions.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to do repetitive tasks.
MUST be dependable, maintaining good attendance.
MUST also be able to pass a drug screen.
