This Electronics Assembler position is critical to our core competency of repairing medical device electronics.
Repairing, replacing, and reworking electronics to the component level is the mainstay of the position followed by simplistic testing to validate the work restores the functionality of the electronic device.
Some examples of electronic components that will be reworked include coaxial wires, transistors, capacitors, ICs, and BGAs.
This position will be supported by management and senior peers with extensive knowledge to make a candidate with a great ability to learn highly successful.
Tasks:
Assemble and Rework Electronic Assemblies and Components.
Perform precision microscope work.
Examine component parts for defects.
Participate in industry leading Quality Management System Use of web interface system to track tasks and accomplishments.
Qualifications:
High degree of hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity.
Excellent attention to detail.
Technical ability to read and follow work instructions.
Ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere.
Ability and willingness to learn and improve.
Position must have full access to VMS client sites to perform the essential functions of this position.
Many VMS clients require VMS employees and representatives to meet certain Vendor Credentialing requirements before they will be allowed to have access to their sites.
Unless prohibited by law, the position must meet all Vendor Credentialing requirements necessary to have full client access and must continue to meet those requirements during VMS employment in this position.
