Our teachers work in homes, or at our learning centers located in University Place and Woodinville, WA.
We provide premium one on one tutoring and private school instruction to children and young adults who are having a difficult time in traditional school settings.
Our programs are custom designed to match each student's learning style, interests, academic needs and if necessary, learning accommodations.
Brock's is looking for a dynamic paraeducator who is comfortable and adept at partnering with a bright, funny and social 11th grader who also has cerebral palsy.
The student loves school (and is particularly gifted in STEM subjects) but needs a special para to help them fully participate in their school experience and to find ways to help them learn and socialize.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Developing and maintaining a genuine and positive relationship with the student, their family, and team members.
Assisting student with academic and social high school experience.
Qualifications and Skills Education:
A background in special education, psychology or social work is highly preferred.
A teaching certification is not required for this position.
Skills:
Ability to provide unique and individualized support and instruction based on the student's learning needs.
