North Peak Associates LLC North Peak Associates LLC Woodinville, WA Woodinville, WA Full-time Full-time From $80,000 a year From $80,000 a year North Peak Associates has a new opportunity for a full time Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to work out of our Woodinville, WA office.
We currently have a number of diverse projects underway, working across the public & private sector.
The PLS will be performing various land surveying tasks accomplished through understanding and applying appropriate standards, manuals, guidelines, policies, and computer software applications.
Job Responsibilities & Tasks:
Work with field and office personnel, both as a team member and independently, to produce Record of Surveys, A.

surveys, Short Plats, Long Plats, Final Plats, Final Condominium Plats, Boundary Line Agreements, Boundary Line Adjustments, easement exhibits, and any document required for project completion.
Oversee property research including deeds, easements, utilities, local by-laws and regulations, zoning data, assessor's data and plans, FEMA and other data relevant to project.
Review and process field work, provide quality control and prepare plans.
Perform boundary calculations and prepare relevant documentation.
Train and develop staff surveyors; provide feedback on level of skills and productivity.
Draft CAD plans for topographic, boundary, ALTA and Land Court plans.
Write descriptions of property boundaries for use in deeds, leases, or other legal documents.
Stamp and certify work completed by self and/or others under technical supervision of position.
Maintain current knowledge of local, state, and federal laws as they pertain to survey projects.
Manage survey projects, monitor project budgets, and review invoices and billing charges related to survey projects.
Cultivate current client relationships where land surveying services are under contract.
Qualifications:
Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) certification in Washington.
High proficiency with land surveying field and office processes.
Strong land use background is required.
Comprehensive knowledge of Washington State survey standards.
Comprehensive knowledge of the federal Public Lands Survey System.
Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Attention to detail with ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
Organization and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5-10 years of total surveying experience with a mix of experience in the field and office.
5 years of project & staff management required.
Project experience with topographic and boundary surveys is required.
Experience with infrastructure work is a plus.
Work Environment Work is performed primarily in an office environment.
Outdoor work may be conducted on occasions.
